When the NYTimes article stops working for non-subscribers:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/02/01/boston.bombscare/index.html

Bahahahaha:
In a news conference, Rich told reporters he had advised his clients not to discuss the incident. Stevens and Berdovsky took the podium and said they were taking questions only about haircuts in the 1970s.

When a reporter accused them of not taking the situation seriously, Stevens responded, "We're taking it very seriously." Asked another question about the case, Stevens reiterated they were answering questions only about hair and accused the reporter of not taking him and Berdovsky seriously.

Reporters did not relent and as they continued, Berdovsky disregarded their queries, saying, "That's not a hair question. I'm sorry."

i can imagine how this would be a little strange to those who have no idea what ATHF is. i'm not surprised they freaked out, honestly. this was a pretty stupid promo tool.

Hey guys. I was just browsing as I do from time to time and had to post about this one. How could it possibly be a bad promo tool. As it was intended a handful of people in 10 cities would have seen these things. As it turns out the whole nation saw them. Seems successful to me.

I guess, the stupidity of it could be debated. It depends on their intentions. While I'm sure they didn't intend to cause mass hysteria, they surely did intend to get noticed, which they did.

And yeah, to everyone else, I don't post much but I check in every couple weeks or so to see what's going on. I find myself having less to say about anything lately, both online and in real life. Maybe I just smoked myself stupid. Anyways, if anyone wants to hit me up ever, the best way is through either the Knife Party myspace (myspace.com/knifeparty) or my personal one (myspace.com/kpbom). Talk to you all later.
