...Gears of War -- who's played it, and do any of you own it?? It looks fucking awesome, and I'm tempted to go out and buy an X360 for this game alone. Any feedback is appreciated!

I got Gears, its really good.

The story mode is short, but interesting, and can be tough if you turn up the difficulty.

Online is where the game shines, it is multiplayer team combat (1-4 per side) that is fast paced, responsive, and fun.

Yeah, umm. not much else to say about it, but it is some good stuff. A good thing is that it is different than the usual first person shooters, (well duh, seeing as it is 3rd person)
